General Finance Analyst IV

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain complex, scalable Workday Adaptive Planning models including Expense, Personnel, Revenue, and Capital models.
• Design and configure standard sheets in coordination with IT departments.
• Optimize existing models for performance, data integrity, and scalability to streamline forecasting processes.
• Manage data integrations from ERP, CRM, and HRIS systems via Adaptive Integration, Loader, or APIs.
• Partner with the FP&A team to build driver-based forecasts, long-range plans, and dynamic "what-if" scenarios.
• Design and maintain executive-ready reports, HTML templates, and interactive dashboards using Office Connect and Adaptive Discovery.
• Automate manual Excel processes into efficient Adaptive workflows by translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide analytical support for variance analysis and identify key business drivers.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of professional experience with a dedicated focus on Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights) implementation and modeling.
• Strong foundational background in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Financial Accounting.
• Proven hands-on experience building cube models, complex matrix formulas, and managing versions/instances.
• Proficiency in Office Connect (Excel, PowerPoint) and Adaptive Discovery Dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills including nested formulas and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of relational databases or data warehousing concepts.
• Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and budgeting cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Finance or an equivalent degree.
• Workday Adaptive Planning Certification(s).
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Background working in a fast-paced corporate environment or technology consulting firm.
