General Counsel

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company's legal department and oversee all legal matters
• Provide strategic legal advice to the President and Executive Team on corporate governance, M&A, securities, IP, and compliance
• Manage and mentor the in-house legal team
• Build and maintain relationships with external counsel
• Stay current on legal developments in the energy and manufacturing industries
• Develop and implement comprehensive legal compliance programs
• Participate in strategic business discussions and corporate strategy execution

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a well-known law school
• 10+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
• 5+ years of experience in the Energy or Manufacturing industry
• 5+ years of experience in investment, financing, international business, engineering, construction, sales, contracts, or procurement
• Proven track record in providing strategic legal counsel and managing complex matters
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual capability in Mandarin and English (Mandarin proficiency strongly preferred)
