About the Company

Accrete is a dual-use AI software company that licenses its Knowledge Engine Platform and Expert AI Agents to government and enterprise clients. The platform creates a unified semantic representation of an organization’s ground truth, enabling expert agents to reason across complex data and support high-stakes decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all core legal activities, including corporate governance and contract negotiation
  • Advise executive leadership and the Board of Directors on legal, regulatory, and business matters
  • Oversee corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing agreements
  • Manage outside counsel relationships and legal budgets
  • Develop and implement company policies to ensure legal and ethical standards are upheld
  • Lead intellectual property strategy, including patent filings and trade secret protection
  • Support crisis management and internal investigations as needed
  • Guide legal aspects of product development, marketing, and sales initiatives
  • Foster a culture of legal awareness and compliance across the organization

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the bar required
  • 15+ years of progressive legal experience in technology, AI, or government contracting
  • Expertise in corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, compliance, and regulatory affairs
  • Experience advising high-growth startups and managing complex legal risks
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement law, cybersecurity regulations, and data privacy (CMMC, GDPR, CCPA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with federal agencies or defense contractors
