General Clerk III

Responsibilities

• Check foul patterns for daily events to ensure no manned sites are in exclusion areas without Range Safety sign off
• Ensure personnel follow safety, security, and environmental regulations per Naval Air Weapons Station SOPs
• Coordinate testing areas, personnel requirements, and locations with Test Conductors and Test Managers
• Gather equipment information to determine restricted foul areas
• Coordinate with road guard scheduler to ensure timely positioning and evacuation of non-test personnel
• Coordinate with on-site safety target personnel to clear test personnel to designated safe areas
• Coordinate with Airspace Surveillance Control for air clearance regarding aircraft survivability, S.N.O.R.T., or explosive ordnance detachment

Requirements

• Knowledge of NAWCWD North and South Ranges
• Familiarity with radio procedures and conduct
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Eligibility to obtain a Secret security clearance (requires US Citizenship)
