General Assistant Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in the administration of the sport and the management of the team
• Organize and conduct effective practice sessions
• Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes
• Work closely with the Athletic Training office to ensure ongoing athlete care
• Uphold Cascade Collegiate Conference and NAIA rules and regulations
• Demonstrate commitment to the University's Christian mission and lifestyle standards
• Follow departmental policies regarding budget administration, expenditures, and fundraising

Requirements

• Experience in collegiate sports or high school coaching
• Ability to travel 50-75% during the competitive season
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and project implementation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience specifically in a collegiate environment
• Experience in recruiting student-athletes
• Bachelor's degree
