General Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support the sample flow process and assist in the preparation and shipping of sampling supplies
• Prepare bottle orders and sample preservatives for packing and shipping
• Review and double-check bottle orders prepared by others for accuracy
• Receive supplies and distribute them to the appropriate departments
• Inspect, lay out, and label client samples for processing
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including basic area cleaning and sample disposal
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and couriers
• Follow established safety regulations and ALS health and safety policies

Requirements

• High School graduation required (some chemistry background preferred)
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Strong English communication skills (auditory, verbal, writing, and reading)
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry for short distances
• Manual dexterity to perform intricate or repetitive tasks
• Ability to stand or sit for a full shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience is considered an asset
