General Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with client bottle orders and manage the receiving and organizing of returned samples
• Support shipping logistics, including preparing samples for shipment and completing waybills
• Deliver shipments to the airport and supplies to client offices as needed
• Perform data entry into the LIMS system for shipping orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including participating in weekly janitorial rotations
• Organize workload to meet client supply requests and adhere to strict deadlines
• Work Monday to Friday with occasional evening or weekend shifts as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid provincial Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical movement including bending and kneeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse or fast-paced environment
• Previous customer service experience
• Knowledge of high school science courses or basic lab safety
