General Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support lab operations by managing client bottle orders and receiving/organizing returned samples
• Perform data entry into the LIMS system for shipping orders
• Prepare samples for shipment and complete necessary waybills
• Deliver shipments to the airport or supplies to client offices as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including participating in weekly janitorial rotations
• Organize workload to meet client supply requests and strict deadlines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid provincial Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand/walk for a full shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or fast-paced environment
• Experience in customer service roles
• Basic knowledge of high school science courses or lab safety protocols
