General Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with client bottle orders and manage the receiving and organizing of returned samples
• Prepare samples for shipment and complete necessary waybills
• Deliver shipments to the airport and supplies to client offices as required
• Perform data entry into the LIMS system for shipping orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including participating in weekly janitorial rotations
• Support client supply requests and organize workload accordingly
• Work Monday to Friday with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid provincial Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or fast-paced environment
• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of high school science courses or basic lab safety
