About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production quality operations to ensure products meet required standards
  • Manage and guide quality control inspectors and technicians
  • Develop and implement quality control systems and processes
  • Analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to implement process improvements
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation for inspection records and corrective actions
  • Manage, train, and develop the quality control team
  • Address customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Prepare and present regular quality reports and KPIs to senior management

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in automotive production or quality control
  • Hands-on experience with general assembly products and processes
  • Proven experience with VDA standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology, engineering, manufacturing, or quality management preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in quality control software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with process improvement, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of automotive processes, assembly tools, and materials
  • Understanding of process auditing techniques and QMS standards
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and heat

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience launching Greenfield or Brownfield plants
  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems and mechanical assembly techniques
