General and Gynae Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general and gynecological ultrasound scans
• Ensure high-quality imaging to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Manage patient care during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Produce detailed reports for referring clinicians
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain high imaging standards
• Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to departmental improvement

Requirements

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• Postgraduate diploma in Medical Ultrasound
• Current HCPC registration
• Extensive experience in general and gynecological ultrasound scans
• Proficiency in operating advanced ultrasound equipment
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound safety standards and protocols
