General and Gynae Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general and gynaecological ultrasound scans
• Ensure highest standards of imaging quality and safety
• Prepare and position patients for scans
• Operate ultrasound equipment and accurately record imaging results
• Maintain equipment and adhere to health and safety protocols
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements

• Degree in Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC or RCT registration
• Postgraduate Certificate (PGC) in Ultrasound
• Extensive experience in general and gynaecological sonography
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound safety and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
