General Adjuster, HNW Property (Large Loss)

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, high-severity, and high-value homeowner property claims for high-net-worth clients
• Establish and execute claim strategies to ensure accuracy, defensibility, and alignment with company objectives
• Conduct advanced coverage analysis and make independent, high-impact claim decisions
• Manage all aspects of first-party property losses, including litigated and complex multi-party claims
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with insureds, brokers, family offices, and legal advisors
• Direct independent adjusters, experts, and vendors in the investigation and evaluation of losses
• Lead high-stakes negotiations, mediations, and dispute resolution processes
• Retain and manage counsel, engineers, and forensic accountants to support litigation and investigations
• Partner with underwriting and finance teams to provide risk insights and inform business strategy
• Provide leadership support during catastrophe events, including potential travel (~20%)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 8+ years of property claims experience, specifically with large-loss or high-net-worth (HNW) exposure
• Proven expertise in advanced coverage analysis and litigation management
• Experience operating at a senior or General Adjuster level
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern claims management systems
• Strong communication skills suitable for engaging sophisticated stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated success handling high-severity claims with high levels of autonomy
• Experience managing complex, high-value inventories and multi-party claims
• Ability to provide technical leadership and serve as an escalation point for challenging matters
