General Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors for timely completion of audits
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial reporting efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills
