General Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Review, verify, and post vendor invoices to correct GL accounts and cost centers
• Issue client invoices and track collections from partners and digital platforms
• Prepare and post monthly accruals and maintain amortization schedules
• Assist in budget preparation and perform monthly variance analysis
• Monitor daily bank transactions and handle regular bank reconciliations
• Maintain organized, audit-ready files to support internal and external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of solid accounting experience, specifically with AP and AR operations
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and general accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including lookups and pivot tables
• Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken)
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
