About the role
Responsibilities
- Process all purchase invoices daily, ensuring accuracy in pricing and investigating discrepancies
- Authorize invoices for payment by coordinating with relevant department managers and matching them to purchase orders
- Record and enter invoices into the MS Dynamics GP system using appropriate account codes
- Organize payment runs, scan invoices, and prepare cheques for mailing
- Manage and reconcile daily cash ups and petty cash
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing supplier details
- Perform account reconciliations and identify/correct accounting errors
- Handle inquiries related to invoices and payments via telephone and email
- Perform general administrative duties including typing, filing, and printing
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Proficiency in Tagalog is required
- Strong IT skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Meticulous eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting qualification such as ACCA, CA, or an equivalent level
- Previous experience working within a similar industry
