General Accountant

About the Company

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the month-end close, ensuring accurate and complete financial data
• Analyze variances, explain key movements, and monitor financial trends
• Support complex and non-routine transactions and coordinate with Tax and Legal teams
• Maintain and execute statutory and tax compliance activities including VAT, CIT, and local audits
• Post and document statutory and tax adjustments in the ERP system
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems like NetSuite
• Coordinate with local and group external auditors during audits and reviews
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
• Experience in multinational or multi-entity environments
• Familiarity with statutory and tax compliance processes
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Big Four firm
