General Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks including supplier invoice processing, data entry, bank reconciliation, and cash flow monitoring
• Contribute to monthly and annual financial closing processes, including posting period-end provisions and analyzing the balance sheet
• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, corporate income tax) and produce necessary regulatory reports
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and annual reports while interacting with auditors
• Support process improvement initiatives through the automation and simplification of departmental tasks
• Draft and update supporting documentation for accounting procedures

Requirements

• Master's degree (BAC+5) in Finance, Management Control, or a related field from a business school or university
• 5-7 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within a dedicated accounting team
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fluency in English
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, and a methodical approach to tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or knowledge using PeopleSoft
• Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
