General Accountant

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly and annual close for assigned entities including journal entries, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments
• Manage intercompany bookings and reconciliations across entities
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules for the close package and statutory audits
• Contribute to the preparation of VAT, DEB/DES, and other regular tax filings
• Support process and tooling improvements regarding ERP, automation, and expense management
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate booking of business transactions

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in general accounting, ideally in a multi-entity or international environment
• Strong technical command of French GAAP; exposure to US GAAP or IFRS is a plus
• Solid hands-on expertise on the full close cycle
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Sage) and Excel / Google Sheets
• Fluent English; French is a strong asset
• Experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce, or consumer goods is a plus
