GDS Ecosystem Emerging Tech Relationships Lead - Assistant Director

Responsibilities

• Enable, shape, and operationalize new and early-stage ecosystem and alliance relationships within the GDS ecosystem.
• Support the end-to-end formation and activation of alliances by guiding business teams through intake, approval, and onboarding processes.
• Design foundational operating models for emerging relationships, including defining roles, processes, and stakeholder engagement cadences.
• Drive adherence to risk management, independence, and quality control requirements throughout the relationship lifecycle.
• Establish early tracking and reporting mechanisms for pipeline, activity, benefits, and risks to support decision-making.
• Identify process bottlenecks and develop playbooks, checklists, and guidance materials to standardize ecosystem formation.
• Act as a central coordination point across Service Lines, GDS teams, and onshore leadership to ensure alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science, or Commerce.
• 12+ years of experience in alliances, ecosystem management, operations, or program management.
• Proven experience in global professional services or technology environments.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders across geographies.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual, matrixed operating model across multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience within a Big Four, Global System Integrator (GSI), or ecosystem-driven organization.
• Experience applying continuous process improvement methodologies to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Knowledge of EY and GDS operations and organizational structures.
