GCS Control Room Operator

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of onsite gas and chemical supply systems to ensure safe and reliable supply.
• Investigate alarms, warnings, abnormal conditions, or adverse trends in monitored parameters.
• Direct immediate corrective actions for any safety or quality of supply issues.
• Perform initial data gathering for supply interruptions, including manufacturing impact, timeline, and root cause investigation.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams regarding all work on GCS equipment.
• Control access to areas and equipment belonging to the GCS Department.
• Collaborate with equipment engineers and controls teams to optimize alarm levels and set points.

Requirements

• Technical associate's degree or equivalent related training.
• 2+ years of experience as a control room operator or in similar equipment monitoring.
• 4+ years of experience in chemical or gas processes.
