GCP Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-level infrastructure-as-code and applications on Google Cloud Platform.
• Deploy and optimize GCP services including Cloud Run, GKE, Google Cloud VMware Engine, and Compute Engine.
• Author advanced IaC using Terraform following GitOps methodologies and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Architect secure cloud landing zones and network architectures involving VPCs, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Execute secure cloud migration initiatives to transition legacy workloads into native GCP environments.
• Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and continuous optimization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer managing secure Google Cloud solutions at an enterprise level.
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Ability to script using Python or Bash.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and platform deployment.
• Deep knowledge of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, and DNS.
• Professional-level Google Cloud certification (e.g., Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Developer).
