GC-MS Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design experiments and operate GC-MS (Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry) instrumentation
• Interpret complex analytical data, including untargeted analysis and unknown compound identification
• Write detailed scientific reports to support regulatory submissions for medical devices
• Manage multiple projects effectively within a fast-paced laboratory environment

Requirements

• B.S. with 7+ years of relevant experience, M.S. with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. in chemistry (analytical, organic, or polymer chemistry)
• Proven experience operating GC-MS instrumentation and analyzing resulting data
• Strong scientific report writing skills, including methodology and data interpretation
• Ability to manage time effectively across multiple concurrent projects
