GBS Finance Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end close activities in compliance with IFRS requirements
• Manage COGS calculations and pension plan reporting
• Handle accruals, adjustments, and debt ageing analysis
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Support fixed asset accounting and employee account reconciliations
• Collaborate with internal teams to share knowledge across various markets and functions

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or a related finance discipline
• Approximately 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or reporting
• Solid understanding of IFRS and internal controls
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft preferred)
• Fluency in both English and Russian (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Big 4 or similar professional services environment
