GBS Account Payable Subs Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing activities including accruals, prepayments, inventory, and payroll
• Act as the primary point of contact for communication with global subsidiaries
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
• Handle the posting and payment of vendor invoices
• Manage customer payments, credit memos, invoices, and statements
• Assist in preparing year-end audit work for external auditors
• Execute company policies and compliance procedures
• Manage bank account reconciliations and postings

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Economics, Finance, Administration, or Business Management
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounting or Auditing within complex organizations
• Excellent English language skills
• Advanced Excel skills and a passion for quantitative analysis
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of other EMEA languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, or Arabic
