Gauge Room Operator

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation, calibration, and maintenance of instruments and gauges to ensure product quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Calibrate instruments, verify correct functioning, and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain instrument history, traceability, and accurate calibration reports.
• Ensure all instruments are in good condition and monitor expiration dates.
• Perform reception and control of new instruments and manage their delivery.
• Update tracking systems and maintain accurate records of all activities.
• Commit to health, safety, and environmental policies and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean, ordered workplace and ensure proper use of company assets.

Requirements

• High school (SMA/SMK), Diploma (D3), or Bachelor's degree (S1).
• At least 2 years of experience in a Quality department, specifically in a Gauge Room or Metrology environment.
• Strong knowledge of measuring tools and measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
• Specialized training in the use of measuring instruments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
• Knowledge of API 5CT procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards.
