About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide access control for visitors, contractors, and haulage drivers
- Electronically record entry and departure of vehicles and loads
- Conduct exit security checks and routine site patrols
- Brief drivers on site behavior and expected standards
- Monitor CCTV and react to incidents
- Perform temperature monitoring of fridges and report faults
- Conduct random searches of staff vehicles and baggage
- Liaise with warehouse, shunter drivers, and emergency services
Requirements
- Valid SIA licence (preferred)
- Computer literacy
- Ability to conduct foot patrols
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and flexible approach
