About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage receipting and despatching of loads in a timely and secure manner
- Deal with drivers at inbound and outbound gates
- Liaise with Operations Controllers to allocate vehicle bays
- Check and seal vehicles upon exit and verify paperwork
- Complete inbound and outbound paperwork accurately
- Use inbound schedules to book deliveries into allocated slots
- Monitor CCTV to ensure site security
- Assist with on-site security checks and searches
Requirements
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload
- Team player capable of working on own initiative
- Proficient PC skills and knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and tenacity
