About the role
Responsibilities
- Process the movement of customer products within the warehouse and network
- Assist and support warehouse operatives when required
- Maintain communication with the Shift Manager and escalate issues
- Pre-allocate loads and input pre-advises for customer inbounds
- Compile and send operational reports
- Run orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times
- Manage staff movement across work areas to maintain flow
- Select loading and unloading bays based on operational requirements
- Update Electronic Schedule and Auto-store systems
- Carry out stock shortage investigations and monitor replenishments
- Control equipment allocation
Requirements
- Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment
- Experience in Warehousing, Transport, Logistics, or 3PL
- Previous experience in Goods In/Out, Stock Control, or Inventory
- Strong customer service background
