Gastroenterologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, including patient history reviews and physical examinations
• Provide accurate diagnosis and treatment for gastrointestinal disorders such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and IBS
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to specific clinical needs
• Prescribe medications and recommend necessary dietary or lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with nurses, nutritionists, and surgeons to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of gastroenterology

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited and recognized university
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist
• Mandatory Western education or training
• Eligibility for DHA licensure in Dubai
• Strong clinical expertise in managing complex gastrointestinal conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
