Gas Trading Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide market expertise, fundamental analysis, and statistical modelling to support Gas trading, structuring, and origination activities
• Research and interpret fundamental drivers across the European Gas space to drive trading strategies and forward price outlooks
• Develop and enhance analytical tools to improve insights from market fundamentals
• Lead the development of tools to support origination and business development teams as they expand into new products and markets
• Evaluate external tools, software, and products for business application

Requirements

• Degree in a numeric discipline (e.g., Engineering, Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics)
• Previous experience working within European Gas Trading teams
• Proven expertise in developing Gas price forecasts within a trading or consultancy environment
• Strong proficiency in Python and data modelling
• Experience with industry tools such as Eikon, Bloomberg, and other analytical/visualisation databases
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
