Gas Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out annual gas services to appliances in accordance with manufacturers and Gas Industry Standards
• Install and commission domestic appliances following industry standards and manufacturer's instructions
• Respond to daily appointments and emergency situations, ensuring all repairs are completed within target dates
• Conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, and Codes of Practice
• Receive and update job information using company tablets and mobile phones

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
• Relevant gas qualifications including CCN1, CPA1, CEN1, HTR1, WAT1, and CKR1
• Strong knowledge of domestic central heating boiler diagnostics, repairs, installation, and servicing
• A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to communicate confidently and build positive working relationships
