About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot steam methane reformers, CO2 purification, high purity helium, and support systems.
  • Monitor plant systems for abnormalities and respond to alarms to ensure 24/7/365 delivery of high purity gas.
  • Provide 24-hour on-call support on a rotating basis for hydrogen, CO2, and liquid bulk production plants.
  • Prepare systems for maintenance by purging, cleaning, flushing, and isolating energy sources.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of compressors, valves, pumps, cooling towers, and analyzers.
  • Maintain historical records of equipment maintenance and perform functional testing prior to customer acceptance.
  • Comply with all HS&E standards, including PPE, Lock Out/Tag Out, and Confined Space Entry programs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6+ years of technical training or operations experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation, rotating equipment, and piping systems.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft software.
  • Ability to work shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work on elevated platforms, and enter confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Associate's degree.
  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) or EPA/FDA regulatory requirements.
  • Qualification in operating forklifts, man lifts, or overhead cranes.
