Gas Field Technician Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert and leader for a small team of Field Technicians
• Perform technical duties including leak troubleshooting and gas meter set installations (residential and commercial)
• Mentor team members, audit performance, and provide field training
• Inspect and certify contractor work in accordance with industry and Railroad Commission (RRC) standards
• Perform pipeline patrols and install/program Automated Meter Readers (AMR)
• Coordinate daily activities with the Field Service team to ensure uninterrupted gas service
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to operational needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5-7 years of related experience in natural gas operations
• Operator Qualification (OQ) Certifications (must maintain I & II and hold III level)
• Advanced knowledge of natural gas infrastructure and local codes
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills in a field environment
• Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule

• Related experience specifically within a field operations environment
