Gas Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and improve specialty and bulk gas supply systems to ensure world-class performance for semiconductor fab production
• Ensure site safety and prevent production impact during work involving active equipment and changepoints
• Coordinate with contractor teams, Fab Engineering, and internal GCS teams to startup, modify, or decommission equipment containing active hazards
• Manage the transition of equipment from qualification and installation into internal Operations team management
• Evaluate project changes to ensure proper design and function of equipment
• Coordinate the transfer of hazardous materials into active supply for Fab Engineering customers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent related experience)
• 4+ years of related experience in gas or chemical equipment ownership
• Strong technical coordination skills and the ability to represent the group during work execution
• Experience with Hazardous Production Materials (HPM) and a strong dedication to safety

• Previous experience in the semiconductor industry
