Gas and Chemical Systems Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair gas delivery and monitoring systems, including cylinder replacement and cryogenic fluid offloading
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and strictly adhere to safety protocols, including PPE and lockout/tagout
• Identify and resolve chronic equipment alarms and defects
• Assist with the installation, modification, and removal of facilities equipment
• Drive quality and cost-saving initiatives through data analysis and TPM culture support
• Maintain up-to-date area-specific procedures and documentation to reduce health and environmental hazards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of technical proficiency with gas and chemical delivery equipment
• 1 year of hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas and chemical delivery equipment
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including weekends, and willingness to work overtime when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree
• Experience in a similar role within the semiconductor industry or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically installing and maintaining gas and chemical delivery systems
