Garment Quality Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 10-15 quality inspectors in Newcastle, South Africa
• Oversee team performance through Key Performance Indicators
• Act as a trainer and coach, providing technical support and guidance
• Conduct performance evaluations and on-site audits
• Propose and implement solutions to improve service standards
• Lead claim investigations and implement corrective action plans
• Represent QIMA in customer meetings to support sales development and technical expertise
• Oversee operational aspects of inspection programs for key accounts
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and factories
• Optimize and reduce regional costs

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering
• Strong familiarity with Quality Management or Product Organization
• Practical experience in performing QC inspections
• Technology driven mindset
• Willingness to manage high-scale teams and performance management
• Ability to travel to meet team members, clients, and factories
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
