Gardener

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee the maintenance of the hotel's gardens and outdoor areas
• Plant, prune, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns
• Manage watering, fertilization, and pest control programs
• Design and implement seasonal landscaping and garden improvements
• Supervise and guide Assistant Gardeners and other garden staff
• Ensure all gardening equipment is properly maintained and stored
• Monitor plant health and recommend solutions for any issues
• Collaborate with the management team on garden aesthetics and guest experience

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Gardener or in a similar landscaping role, preferably within hospitality
• Strong knowledge of plants, horticultural practices, and landscape maintenance techniques
• Ability to plan, implement, and maintain seasonal planting projects
• Demonstrated leadership skills to supervise a small gardening team
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
• Basic command of the English language
• Physically fit and adaptable to outdoor work conditions
