Gardener

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain stunning gardens using natural techniques
• Deliver excellent service and positive interactions with residents
• Carry out physically demanding gardening tasks safely
• Use provided tools, PPE, and wet weather gear as required

Requirements

• Demonstrated competence in a similar gardening role
• Knowledge of plants and growth patterns
• High level of physical fitness
• NZ Drivers License and ability to drive a small manual truck
• Safe work practices
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well as part of a team and remain calm and courteous

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 3 Horticulture with desire to continue to Level 4 (not essential)
