Garden and Pet Store Salesperson

Responsibilities

• Advise and guide customers to meet their gardening and pet needs
• Manage stock levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise
• Ensure high-quality visual merchandising, including shelf stocking and promotional displays
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the garden and pet aisles
• Handle product pricing and labeling
• Manage specific product categories such as garden tools, seeds, soil, fertilizers, plants, and pet food/accessories

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in DIY retail or gardening stores
• Certiphyto certification is required
• Mastery of sales techniques and customer relationship management
• Strong knowledge of gardening and horticultural products
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional attitude
