Garage Door Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose garage door problems in residential homes
• Present repair and upgrade options confidently to homeowners
• Close sales on the spot to maximize opportunities
• Perform technical installations including springs, motors, rollers, and full systems
• Install openers, keypads, and wiring
• Deliver a 5-star customer experience to generate repeat business

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of garage door sales and service experience
• Must be currently employed by a reputable garage door company
• Proven ability to close jobs in-home
• Valid driver's license with a 3+ year driving record
• Ability to lift 75 lbs, bend, climb, and kneel
• Proficiency with navigation apps and basic software/tablets
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
