Garage Door Sales & Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service residential and light commercial garage door systems
• Perform detailed safety inspections and preventative maintenance
• Present repair and replacement options to customers based on needs and budget
• Educate homeowners on products, upgrades, and maintenance
• Provide exceptional customer service and close sales professionally
• Document completed work using company technology
• Maintain a clean service vehicle and safe work environment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and climb ladders
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in garage door, construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or automotive trades
