Garage Door Installation Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential, commercial, and industrial garage door systems
• Inspect installations and repairs to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate work records, notes, diagrams, and photos for future service needs
• Provide excellent customer service, identify needs, and recommend solutions or alternatives
• Upsell products and services when appropriate
• Coordinate with colleagues and maintain a professional, positive attitude

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean MVR
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with basic hand tools
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and climb ladders
• Saturday availability required
• High school degree or equivalent
• Familiarity with OSHA safety rules and best practices
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
• Ability to use tablets for paperwork and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in garage door installation, repair, and maintenance
• Experience with commercial door systems (sectional, rolling steel, fire doors, high speed doors, dock equipment)
• Experience with Service Titan software
