Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance team to carry out complex specialist highway and construction tasks
• Safekeep and operate specialist equipment ensuring PUWER compliance
• Undertake repair works to highways assets including carriageways, footways, kerbs, and signs
• Provide guidance and training to colleagues following Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
• Manage daily works to ensure site safety for operatives and the public
• Conduct point of work risk assessments and maintain safe-working procedures
• Plan work using technical drawings, measurements, and reports

Requirements

• Ability to lead teams successfully under pressure
• SMSTS, SSSTS, or similar qualification
• Full driving licence
