About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and embody the gameplay animation vision for Beyond Good & Evil 2
  • Develop animation intentions including style, rhythm, readability, impact, and fluidity
  • Produce key documentation such as animation vision, briefs, guidelines, and workflows
  • Supervise the creation and integration of in-game animations
  • Collaborate with Game Designers and the Gameplay team to ensure character responsiveness and feel
  • Lead and mentor animators, fostering an ambitious and inspiring animation culture
  • Partner with Art, Tech Anim, Design, Narration, and Audio departments

Requirements

  • Significant experience in 3D animation within the video game industry
  • Previous experience leading gameplay animation or readiness to step into a leadership role
  • Experience on at least one AAA project
  • Strong technical background in animation with a required portfolio
  • Mastery of MotionBuilder (keyframe and mocap)
  • Experience with game engines and animation systems
  • Minimum C1 level of English
  • Strong sense of rhythm, movement, and visual impact
