About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop the gameplay animation vision and define animation intentions including style, rhythm, and fluidity
  • Propose animation artistic direction consistent with the targeted gameplay experience
  • Produce key documents such as animation vision, briefs, guidelines, and workflows
  • Supervise the creation and integration of in-game animations
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of character animations and gameplay readability
  • Collaborate with Game Designers and the Gameplay team to guarantee character responsiveness
  • Inspire, guide, and support animators through mentoring and constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with Art, Tech Anim, Design, Narrative, and Audio departments

Requirements

  • Significant experience in 3D animation within the video game industry
  • Proven experience leading gameplay animation or readiness to step into the role
  • Proficiency in MotionBuilder (keyframe and mocap)
  • Experience with game engines and animation systems
  • Strong animation background with a portfolio
  • Minimum C1 level in English
  • Experience on at least one AAA project is preferred
