Game Night Staff: Radio

Responsibilities

• Assist with posting game audio to Capitals Radio Network social channels
• Post audio clips on social channels pregame, including head coach and player interviews
• Assist with collecting game night information around the NHL for Radio Host
• Assist with collecting in-game stats and analytics for PxP broadcast and Radio Host
• Deliver on-air including to both intermission broadcasts and Capitals Radio podcasts with player and game reports
• Collect audio sound from both home and visiting locker rooms postgame
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment
• Hard working, detail oriented and results driven
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal, written, organizational and verbal communication skills
• Customer-service oriented
• Flexibility to work at least 90% of Capitals home games (typical hours: 5:30-10:30 p.m.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous journalism, radio, public relations or communications experience
