Game Mathematician II

Responsibilities

• Develop game code to integrate 3rd party math logic into the math engine
• Troubleshoot and refine math logic to meet market and regulatory requirements
• Calculate and simulate expected game payouts and investigate discrepancies
• Partner with mathematicians, developers, producers, and test engineers to resolve issues
• Contribute to verification processes through simulations, calculation programs, and peer reviews
• Document game math logic and support handoff to software development teams
• Use statistical analysis to evaluate data and improve game features

Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a similar field
• Strong foundation in probability, combinatorics, and statistics
• Programming experience in Python, C++, C#, or VBA
• Proficiency in data analysis and Excel
• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in advanced math topics such as game theory or graph theory
• Experience with mathematical modeling
• Interest in the gaming industry
