Game Economy Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize economic balancing for game loop and progression systems including sources, sinks, and monetization
• Provide data-driven simulations and analysis of game loop balancing scenarios
• Revamp and improve designer tools and Excel tracking sheets
• Implement system topics such as RPG itemization, time-limited events, and daily quests
• Collaborate with content, level design, art, and programming teams
• Create and maintain documentation for game loop systems and designer tools
• Identify and fix buggy features to optimize systems

Requirements

• Proven experience shipping at least one game as an economic or system designer
• In-depth knowledge of F2P and GaaS genres and mobile player behavior
• Strong numeric design and data manipulation abilities
• Proficiency with complex Excel sheets
• Fluent in English
• Experience with MMORPG, action-RPG, or F2P GaaS is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for RPG and looter-shooter games
• Familiarity with The Division IP
• Passion for creating immersive, believable game worlds
