FX Strategy Associate

Responsibilities

• Produce and deliver differentiated market insights and actionable research for G10 FX, EMFX, and rates markets.
• Analyze market, sector, corporate, and economic data to develop investment theses and high-impact research notes.
• Present research views to clients through direct interactions, virtual meetings, hosted events, and written communications.
• Engage with Markets, Client Strategy, and other internal stakeholders to raise awareness of research output.
• Develop and maintain robust macro analytical frameworks and models to support senior strategists.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Supervisory Analysts to ensure all research is delivered in a compliant manner.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Professional experience or internships within a research, strategy, or markets team.
• Proficiency in Python or R with demonstrated analytical capability.
• Strong understanding of international macroeconomics and financial markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree (Masters or PhD).
• Direct experience in FX markets and macroeconomic research.
• Familiarity with FX spot, forwards, or rates markets.
• Exposure to macroeconomic indicators and time series analysis.
